Favourable Lake
Favourable Lake is part of the Severn River system, which eventually makes its way into the Hudson Bay. This lake has many incoming creeks, rocky points, and lush weed beds playing host to Way North Lodge's trophy Pike and numerous tasty Walleye.
Favourable Lake's landing is a quick portage away from South Trout Lake. This lake consists of two arms, the North and the South. From the landing on Favourable Lake when your boat first enters the water you will have a quick 10 minute boat ride before reaching the point at which you have the choice to embark on one of these two adventures. From this point you can not make a wrong decision as you will have many fishing hot spots and scenic views to enjoy along the way.
If the non-stop fishing action has caught you looking for a well deserved break - take a pause and observe the Severn River Falls or the Borland Falls. Taking a ride up to one of these picturesque areas could offer you a chance of being able to encounter a Moose, Bear, or one of nature's many wild animals coming down to the waters edge for a swim, a drink, or even a bite to eat.
Favourable Lake is truly one of the best fishing experiences this area has to offer. Great fishing combined with beautiful scenery just minutes away from Way North Lodge could offer memories of a lifetime.
